Nathalie - CEO / DIRECTOR
Driven, outgoing and bursting with ideas, Nathalie, EduKit's original founder, is passionate about social change and bringing people together, has worked with and for youth charities and credits support she received in her teens with helping her build her career. So she sees ensuring that every child can achieve his or her potential as her life's work! Nathalie loves to evangelise about how EduKit can help to transform student outcomes to schools, youth service providers, government agencies, the media and investors. And of course, to support her team in achieving our bold and exciting mission of ensuring ALL students can achieve their potential.
Andrew - CTO / DIRECTOR
EduKit’s rebirth began when Andrew joined in mid-2015 to help take things to the next level. As product owner he has designed and managed our fantastic web applications, Connect and Insight, aided by his role as a school governor which helps him to understand first-hand the challenges that schools face. Passionate about ensuring that things run smoothly and efficiently, Andrew's role is to deliver high-quality products and services to our customers. He also leads on all areas of our internal infrastructure and processes and is our acting Commercial Director.
Mercedes - School Manager
Always happy to help, there's almost nothing Mercedes wouldn't do for 'her schools’. Whether it’s ringing around to 20+ youth providers to find a suitable intervention, helping with TeachMeets or finding free resources, she always has something up her sleeve to ensure she can go that extra mile. Mercedes’ passion for seeing our products help transform outcomes for students makes her a great person to have in our post sales team. She is responsible for onboarding, user training and customer support.
daniel - Business Manager
Having both taught in schools and worked in youth organisations, Daniel understands the challenges that EduKit addresses first hand and works with strategic clients to devise innovative ways to help. He’s our business relationship lead, so spends his time meeting schools, MATs, service providers and others to devise exciting partnerships that can really improve student outcomes. He’s also our comms and marketing lead, ensuring that we look and sound the part.
Julia - Admin Assistant
Thorough, focused and driven, Julia is always willing to pull out the stops, once speaking to staff at every single Primary and Secondary school in South London to promote a safeguarding campaign we were running. Julia's a powerhouse who helps to drive the team forward. She leads on our work with youth service providers and also manages EduKit's back office and accounts.
Darren - Non-executive director
Having spent the past 15 years working with growing SMEs with a particular focus in technology and property, Darren joined the EduKit team to help with financial governance and accounting matters. A Partner at a major city professional services practice with scores of clients in the not for profit and voluntary sector, Darren has an excellent network through which he has built a mass of relevant experience. Darren is detail oriented, pragmatic and creative and has been involved with EduKit since its inception.
James - Advisor
James is a social researcher with 20 years experience across a range of sectors. He currently works at the think tank New Philanthropy Capital, supporting charities and social enterprises to think about their impact and how they can measure their effectiveness. He has also been involved in NPC’s work in measuring young people’s wellbeing and improving access to Government data on outcomes. He has been involved with EduKit since 2014 and advises on social impact, feedback and performance measurement.
Carlos - Legal advisor
A highly experienced commercial lawyer with deep expertise in Data Protection and Technology matters, Carlos joined EduKit as a advisor to help us to ensure that our internal systems and processes adhered all required standards. He’s also been instrumental in the design of our Secure Access Insight module, that allows schools to share anonymised data or insights securely with youth providers they trust while ensuring that they are fully data protection compliant and meeting the high security standards.
