EduKit Insight Case Study

Rock Ferry Primary School

Laurence Thomas, Wellbeing Lead

"Part of our school improvement plan, created from our previous Ofsted report, was to administer a wellbeing survey for our KS2 children and analyse the results, with a view to improving self-esteem and resilience.

"EduKit contacted one of our assistant headteachers at Rock Ferry and as Wellbeing lead, I enquired about the use of their survey. We first used EduKit Insight at the beginning of the September term. The survey was easy for the children to answer and straight-forward to set up.

"Using the results provided by the children, we were able to plan targeted interventions for years 3-6, mainly focusing around self-esteem and resilience.

"Compared with our September results, the survey we ran in March shows that these interventions have had a positive impact and the percentage of children 'at risk' has reduced. We plan to administer the survey again later this year so that we can continue to show progress for our children's health and wellbeing."
